Here at Burr & Knot, we specialise in the creation of bespoke, timeless and heritage pieces of furniture for your home. Our homes and the furniture we choose to put in them are deep reflections of our personality and we understand the desire to have input into the design process.

Bespoke design service
We will begin the process with a virtual or in-person consultation to discuss your ideas and requirements, running through different timber and material options to fully understand your vision.
Our craftsmen will then put together a number of different designs for you to choose from, including a range of finishes, timber and material options and intricate details to make sure your furniture is completely unique. After we have finalised the design, we will create your table in our workshop in Cornwall.

Another arm to our Burr & Knot consultancy service is repurposing. We think there’s something rather magical in transforming something sentimental into a beautiful piece of furniture.
Past projects have included turning an old door from a client’s childhood home into a beautiful dining room table, dairy farm oak timber into a pippy mirror frame and marble found in a garden into an eye-catching coffee table.
Transforming these nostalgic items and giving them a new purpose is a wonderful creative challenge and we love going on this journey with our clients.
